Pag-install
To use the Creditable Leaky Paywall Addon, follow these steps:
- Get your free Creditable Partner Account at https://partner.creditable.news. No signup costs are applicable.
- Login to your dashboard at https://partner.creditable.news and add your WordPress website as a mediatitle (publication).
- An apikey will be generated for each mediatitle you add.
Installation From your WordPress dashboard:
First install the Creditable Paywall plugin if you haven’t already
- Navigate to ‘Plugins > Add New’
- Search for ‘creditable’ and install the Creditable Paywall plugin
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Submit the Creditable Api key of your mediatitle into the ‘Creditable Paywall Settings’
Then install the Creditable Leaky Paywall addon
- Navigate to ‘Plugins > Add New’
- Search for ‘creditable’ and install the Creditable Leaky Paywall addon
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Once Installed:
- Go to ‘Leaky Paywall > Settings’ in your WordPress dashboard
- Under the ‘General’ tab, you will find the “Subscribe or Login Message”. Add the shortcode for the creditable button: [creditable-paywall-button]
- Under the ‘General’ tab, you will find the “Upgrade Message”. Add the shortcode for the creditable button: [creditable-paywall-button]
- Use HTML to position the button the way you want.
To create a premium article:
- For best results add an image, topic, excerpt and tags to your article via the post section on the right.
- Your article will automatically appear in your Creditable partner account (if it meets your Leaky Paywall Settings for premium articles)
- Price (in credits) and expiry (in days) of the article are automatically set to default mediatitle settings.
- You can override default price and expiry by defining it per topic or even per article.
