How to display the Button
- Insert shortcode
[wp_random_button]to individual post or page. If you want to change the button text, just add a ‘text’ attribute to the shortcode, like
[wp_random_button text="I am feeling lucky"]. If you want to display/exclude posts from selected categories, just input cat IDs to ‘cat’ or ‘nocat’ attribute, like `[wp_random_button cat=”1,2″, nocat=”3″], separate multiple IDs by comma'(,)’.
- Or you can use the custom widget. Go to
WP-Admin -> Appearance -> Widgetsand drag the
WP Random Buttonwidget to any widget area you want
