WordPress only needs a Fuxux API key.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External Services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to the Fuxux API (fuxux.com) using a personal API key you provide, to:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fetch the list of social media accounts connected to your Fuxux workspace, so you can choose which ones to post to.<\/li>\n<li>Send the title, excerpt\/content-derived caption text, permalink, site name, and (optionally) the featured image URL of a post you publish or update, so Fuxux can post it to your chosen social accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This only happens when you explicitly enable auto-posting, and only for the post types you select. Each post editor has a \"Fuxux Social Poster\" panel where you can skip auto-posting entirely or choose a different set of platforms for that specific post.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20post%20immediately%3F\"><h3>Does it post immediately?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>By default, yes, right when the post is published. You can set a delay (in minutes) under Settings \u2192 Fuxux Social Poster if you'd rather schedule it a bit later.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20if%20a%20platform%20isn%27t%20connected%20in%20fuxux%3F\"><h3>What happens if a platform isn't connected in Fuxux?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Fuxux automatically skips platforms that don't have a connected account, so nothing fails \u2014 it just posts to whatever is connected.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20didn%27t%20my%20post%20show%20up%20on%20social%20media%20instantly%3F\"><h3>Why didn't my post show up on social media instantly?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Sending happens via WP-Cron a few seconds after you publish, not during the publish request itself, so the editor never waits on Fuxux or a social network to respond. WP-Cron only runs on site traffic, so on a very low-traffic site it can take a little longer to fire \u2014 a real cron job hitting <code>wp-cron.php<\/code> on a schedule (common on most hosts) avoids that.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n<!--section=changelog-->\n<h4>1.2.0<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Added Google Business Profile and Discord to the supported platforms.
