This plugin adds an Insert Emoji button into the post content editor.
It will also enable autocomplete of emoji by typing a colon and then an emoji name, like “:smile”.

After installing the plugin you’ll have an Insert Emoji button in your editor. 
Clicking the button opens up a toolbar to search for and insert emoji into your post content. 
Also try autocomplete by entering a colon and then the name of an emoji, like “:smile”. You can navigate with the left and right arrow keys, and press enter to insert the Emoji. Press escape to close the window.

I love this plugin, simply install and it’s there no setup required. Uses native emojis and that’s cool, if no emoji is present adds image.

A good plugin for those clients who don’t know about existence of native emoji tools. Had a bit of trouble working with it in a Gravity forms content field, but the plugin still does what advertised, the icons and the UI are nice, and there’s almost no trouble with it.

But it is AWESOME!
I love being able to grab a little extra somethin’-somethin’ in a blog post and drop in some emoji love. Sure, I could go on and on about the emergence of emmojis and it’s growing in importance for online communication.
But that would be boring.
Need an easy way to add emjois without needing to remember what WordPress has baked in?
Install this joker. It’s awesome.

Thanks for this nice plugin 💐. I do really like Emojicons, but I hate to use them. Well at least I usually have to search some database and copy-paste it (If you are not using Slack or something, is there a better way on desktops? Would love to hear about it.).
Anyway, with this plugin, its becoming super fast and 😂 to do so.
