As one said, beauty comes with the simplicity. Skype finally delivers a nice connection between messaging and web applications. I couldn’t make any calls (audio or video) from the website. The call seems to start for some milliseconds and goes off. Another serious downside is that users have to have a skype account and be signed in into skype for web on browser. Not all have skype and minority is logged in via web. These factors render the plugin quite risky, compared to classic online consultants. Overall, i’d say it’s beautifully designed, but needs a lot more work on the backend and it definitely needs to give up on the idea of website users to be signed-in in order to chat.
