Stop bot spam with this lightweight addon for SimpleForm plugin. No configuration required. Once activated, you will find the new “reCAPTCHA Anti-Spam” option in the Settings page within the Spam Protection tab. Before you enable this option, you need to sign up for an API key pair for your site. You no longer need to worry about getting spam in your contact form, since each new form submission will be filtered for spam using Google reCAPTCHA.

Activating the SimpleForm reCAPTCHA plugin is just like any other plugin.
Using the WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to “Add New” in the plugins dashboard
- Search for “SimpleForm reCAPTCHA”
- Click “Install Now”
- Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
Uploading into WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
- Select “simpleform-recaptcha.zip” in your computer
- Click “Install Now”
- Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
Using FTP
- Download “simpleform-recaptcha.zip”
- Extract the “simpleform-recaptcha” directory in your computer
- Upload the “simpleform-recaptcha” directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
- Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Can I install this plugin without SimpleForm?

No. You cannot. This is an addon plugin and it requires SimpleForm plugin to work.
