The core software is built by hundreds of community volunteers, and when you’re ready for more there are thousands of plugins and themes available to transform your site into almost anything you can imagine. Over 60 million people have chosen WordPress to power the place on the web they call “home” — we’d love you to join the family.

WordPress is known to be installed and ready to publish in 5 minutes! Here’s how:

  1. I-download at i-unzip ang WordPress.
  2. Create a database for WordPress on your web server, so that MySQL has all privileges in access and modification.
  7. (Optional) If you downloaded the English version of WordPress, you must copy the translation files tl.mo and continents-cities-tl.mo (corresponding to the version of WordPress installed) into the sub-folder wp-content/languages. You may need to create this directory if it does not exist already. Then edit the wp-config.php file for define (‘WPLANG’, ‘tl’).

That’s it! WordPress should now be installed.
